I had the opportunity to work remotely with CEO Matthew Squillace and his team at Catch Creation LLC from 2020 to late 2023. Based in New York and Miami, Catch Creation is an e-commerce company specializing in wholesale and B2B goods ranging from meditation and incense vases to cosmetics, absorbent floor mats, and more. Throughout my time with the company, I served as the Brand Designer, developing logos and identities for their upcoming product lines.

One of my key projects was creating the visual identity and e-commerce site for Muddy Mat, an anti-mud mat designed for dog owners that quickly became Catch Creation’s flagship product. The Muddy Mat product line was ultimately featured on Pix11 New York Living News, as well as in commercials on Lifetime Movie Network, Animal Planet, MSNBC, VH1, and CNN. As the line expanded, I collaborated with the marketing team to develop additional pet care solutions such as Doggy Drier Towels, Wizz Pet Odor & Stain Eliminator, and the Puppy Pad Washable Soft Fluffy Sleep Pad. I also helped design and launch the Muddy Mat Stone Bath Mat, seeing it through from initial concept to final manufacturing.

My design process centered on generating multiple concepts for logos, typography, packaging, and marketing collateral. Working closely with the marketing team, we used demographic research and user feedback to refine our approach, ensuring each design resonated with the target audience. We further tested promotional ads on social platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram, leveraging influencer partnerships to amplify brand awareness. This collaborative, iterative approach not only streamlined the creative process but also contributed to the rapid growth and success of Catch Creation’s product lines.
